  • Integrated ready to use systems by: Raymarine, Navico, Garmin, Furuno with Victron and Mastervolt for energy
  • DIY based on Raspberry PI and/or Arduino mixed with commercial devices

But there is space for intermediate products:

  • Ready to be installed and covering functions that are not well addressed by tier1 suppliers or very expensive
  • Based on Open-source software to allow empowerment of expert users
  • Also based on standard hardware platform to drastically limit the development cost
  • Sold as semi-finished products to avoid the big ticket for certification
